Quick friendly atmosphere with reasonable prices and good food.

Excellent service, excellent food, very relaxing atmosphere. The staff here is always so friendly!! My photo is the 1/2 & 1/2 with scrambled eggs. It's basically biscuits and sausage gravy but I have my eggs put on top. Mix it all together for a magical breakfast, which by the way is served past normal breakfast times. We went on a Sunday and breakfast ended at 2pm!! I don't eat fish but my friends/family tell me that this place has some of, if not the best, fish in town. They also have a full bar!! Go see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

The food here is so good. I have no idea how they could give us that much food for that price. I will absolutely be going back.You should be too.

First visit here impressed me never really crossed my mind to go here as I'm not a fish eater! However there are plenty of alternatives on the menu. I ordered a Ruben sandwich that was delicious. Service was excellent here as well our servers timing for every interaction was on cue even anticipating our need for to go boxes bravo! And 2 of us ate nice portioned meals and still walked out for under 25 bucks including a nice tip.

Me and my son and grand daughter went to eat there they have good food all you can eat fish .

Perfectly cooked fish, coleslaw and french fries were delicious also

Best fish in town, fried or broiled! Definitely one of our favorite restaurants. Kids ask for it at least once a month.

Sat at the bar. Had a talkative and engaging server. Apple butter salmon is amazing.

Cheese sticks were cold. Service was just ok. The fish sandwich was good but not remarkable or memorable. The hamburger was very good. The atmosphere is very basic, not terribly clean but not off putting. Could use some material update and work. First time here, probably not a destination I would drive to. However, the price point here on food is extremely reasonable.

Great place to eat some fish! I had the cat fish and it was excellent! The staff are great! Stop in have a drink at the bar and eat some great fish!!

Fish is excellent. Everything else seems good, I do not know, I only get the fish. Beer is cold and the cost reasonable. Do not expect an upscale place. Just a great local joint. Wait staff are friendly.

Big Eyed fish has a "diner" feel to it. It is definitely a hometown restaurant in Fort Wayne. Especially the Wells St. location where the servers know their regulars and are welcoming to new faces.We enjoyed coming with the kids and HIGHLY recommend the "all-you-can-eat" fish. Their fish is light and flakey and their house-made tartar sauce is sweet and delicious. The coleslaw is sweet and creamy too. The "tenderloin" was really more of a pork fritter than a midwestern tenderloin (which should be pounded thin and breaded as opposed to a thick and crispy fritter). Their burger was good. The Big Eye burger was grilled well with mushrooms. Onions bacon and melted cheese. All in all, I would definitely come back for the fish. It is top notch and worthy of the 5 star review!

UPSIDE: Food is very good, can get breaded or broiled fish, as well as other eats, large servings and can probably split a meal. Beer, wine and soft drinks. Friendly staff and fast service. Decent seating and decor. Prices very reasonable. Two dinners and four beers was $30 (photo of bill attached). DOWNSIDE: Parking lot / spaces a little small. No hard liquor. COMMENTS: Great place to eat, would recommend highly.

The price for breakfast is a fair price. Ordered eggs, was not as hot as they should be. Is a average place for quick breakfast and price.

4 of us Came in 1/2 hour before close, but the server was great. Got 3 tasty fish sandwiches and fish dinner. Only 2 servings left of clam chowder and they were light on clam but it was part of a special, so I get that. I will be back to this unassuming, nice local spot.

The best fish in Fort Wayne, period. Rumor has it that they're using the old Famous Fish of Stroh recipe but regardless, it's amazing. I never knew fish did not need tartar sauce until I had theirs without it. Absolutely amazing fish and the staff is always friendly. I can't speak for any of the rest of their menu as I only get the fish. I'll eat a 1# box of it by myself. Don't forget about the 2 Big Eyed Fish Express locations either. It's the same great fish maybe a little closer to where you are.

The big eye burger at Big Eyed Fish is one of my favorite in town. 1/2 pound patty, bacon, mushroom,onion, swiss. Delicious! Comes with chips and pickle. They are in the middle of remodeling the inside. It looks really nice.

This place was an amazing treat, the grilled yellow Tuna was amazing. Their perch dinner was a nice light batter and fried to perfection. Their house fish is cod and again light batter with excellent flavor. The staff was friendly and always working. The server was excellent as in we never had to ask for a refill on our drinks. (Water) she actually noticed I was almost out of tarter and brought more to the table. We will be back!

This was my first time coming here at first it was okay the appetizers were good but when we got our food I couldn't even eat my side which was hash browns they were burt. You can taste the burtness of it. I also got the biscuits and gravy and it had too much pepper in it and way to much gravy. I couldnt even finish my food. Idk if I'll be coming back.

I really enjoyed our dinner here and really the fish is outstanding for what you pay. It reminded me of the older days when Fish of Stroh was around with great quality.
